Shariful Islam is a Bangladeshi engineer, ethical visionary, and entrepreneur, and the Founder, Chairman, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer of The Muslim Company — a diversified global conglomerate headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Burdwan, India.
In January 2025, he founded The Muslim Company with a singular long-term vision: to build a civilization-driven global enterprise rooted in ethical leadership, transparency, and accountability. Under his leadership, the company has expanded across more than twenty industry sectors, including technology and artificial intelligence, Islamic finance, education, healthcare, manufacturing, renewable energy, media, and humanitarian development.
Shariful Islam has also been recognized as a Global Peace Ambassador (2025–2026) by the Global Peace Chain, in recognition of his contributions to ethical leadership and humanitarian advocacy on an international level.
